Elham Valley Railway Museum – Stands at Peene, just off the A20 at Folkestone. Leave the M20 at Junction 12, just after the signs to the Eurotunnel.
This Museum dates back to the 1930's, and is for the whole family. Set in good gardens you will witness the age of steam, a well preserved old signal box, and even a well designed model of the Channel tunnel Railway.

McFarlane's Butterfly Centre – Tropical greenhouses, amongst scores of lovely free flying butterflies, how wonderful. The species change constantly through the different seasons. You may witness, Swallow Tails, Owl Butterflies, and the gigantic Atlas Moth from Asia , along with the dainty Heliconids.
